Meet Brooke: A Journey of Passion and Excellence in Aquatics
With over 30 years of experience in the aquatics industry, Brooke's journey is nothing short of inspiring.
It all began in 1994 at Manly Pool, where she spent a decade teaching and coaching, honing her skills and passion for swimming. Her career took her around the globe as she worked alongside blind marathon swimmer James Pittar, helping him conquer extraordinary challenges like the English Channel, Spain to Africa, and Rottnest Island swims.
In 2000, Brooke stepped into leadership as the assistant manager of the Ryde Water Polo venue during the 2000 Olympics. She later managed staffing at the Sydney Cricket and Trust Office for major events at Sydney's iconic sports venues, the SFS and Cricket Ground. Her global adventures continued in Thailand, where she trained at the Fairtex Muay Thai Kickboxing Camp in Bangkok, further broadening her expertise.
Returning to Australia, Brooke managed the Sports Super Centre Aquatics Centre on the Gold Coast before opening her own swim school in Sydney. The Brooke Withers Swim School thrived for 15 years before she sold it in 2021.
Now, after a three-year break, Brooke is diving back into the industry she knows and loves, launching **Next Generation Swim Academy**. Fuelled by her extensive experience and passion, she’s ready to create the next chapter in her storied aquatics career.
